When we used to live in Montgomery, we ate at Chappy’s all the time. In fact, the school I went to catered from here 2-3 times a week, so it was only fitting that we ate here for the last meal of our trip.
I went all out and demolished Chicken and Dumpling soup, a Thanksgiving Sandwhich (filled with Turkey, stuffing and Cranberry Sauce) and Red Velvet cake.

My parents/Mrs. Douglas had a hankering for Italian, and they took is to Carrabbas. I was initially surprised, as living in Italy has made my entire family elitist food snobs when it comes to Italian food, and this place was a chain. I thought that maybe living the in the South for so long had lowered their standards, but even I was pleasantly surprised! I dined on mussels, minestrone and fettuccine, and yes, Sweet Tea as well!
