Jays vs Drake…
Or how to cover the spread in 6 minutes!
Creighton’s red hot start/defense combined with Drake’s shooting woes continuing equaled a 18 point lead before Drake called a time out! This eventually ballooned to a 30 point lead before the end of the first half, and it became clear that Drake would not be able to recover. This was great for us, as our starters got some much needed rest and our bench got in quality minutes. By the end of it all, the Jays tied a record for most 3′s hit in a game (16!) and they cruised to a 91-61 victory and improved to 15-1.
Also in attendance at the game was Champions Forever, which is essentially a modern-day family circus act. What was interesting is after their halftime performance, they were handing out cards that explained a little more about them, and from what I gathered, they are essentially a cult!
I actually spent more time watching all the photographers than the actual game, and I was amazed how quickly there were able to follow the ball with a camera!
